Where to stay in Houston, Texas
Where to stay in Houston for a getaway/staycation? Check out Texas Avenue BNB in east downtown Houston. It is Houston’s only boutique hotel and event space. In addition, Texas Avenue BNB is perfect distance to coffee shops, restaurants, and downtown Houston and perfect for birthday parties or other celebrations.
I was able to stop by and stay at their Wonderland Suite and I have to say every corner of this room is picture perfect. By the way, spoiler alert there is a disco ball!
Similarly, other suites offered are The Disco Suite, The Glassgow Kiss Suite, and the Seventies Suite.

The living room
Above all, the main feature of the living room is definitely this disco ball. There is actually a switch you flip to turn on the disco ball! How cool is that? It’s perfect for a 70’s themed birthday party or a girl’s night out!
Also, yes there is a TV but also this amazing bluetooth enabled record player with collection of vinyls.
Sitting area
In addition, there is another cute sitting area next to the bedroom. Perfect area to sit, enjoy a drink and chat with friends.
The whole suite is an open space and you can see the dining and living areas from here.
The Bedroom
I definitely need this bed at my house! It’s a velvet wingback queen size bed. The mattress was so comfortable and how cute are these lamps?
Above all, make sure to add in some time to take some pictures here because how can you resist?

Breakfast- check out Brasstacks. It is walking distance and has coffee, pastries, and food.
Lunch – check out Tout Suite, El Tiempo, or Ninfas.

Overall
Overall, this is such a hidden gem in Houston and the perfect place to stay in Houston! It has everything you need for a staycation. It’s also the perfect location for anyone visiting Houston.
