Location: North Star Mall/60 Northwest Loop 410 #18
Facts & Tips: Yup, you read it right! Since everything is bigger in Texas it just makes sense that we have the World’s Largest Cowboy Boots! Grab your boots and head to North Star Mall. This has to be the #1 most Instagrammable spot in San Antonio!
There is parking at the mall but the boots are located at one of the entrances/exits of the mall so you may have to walk a bit depending where you park. Also, since the boots are located at the entrance/exit of the mall you need to be prepared to wait for that perfect picture without any cars! Click here to see my TikTok!
Fun Fact, the boots were actually made in 1979 in Washington D.C. by Bob “Daddy-O” Wade and they were brought to San Antonio in 1980. They are over 35 feet tall.
Location: Hemisfair Park/434 S Alamo St.
Facts & Tips: Similar to the ones in Dubai, San Antonio also has their own pair of wings! The park has a parking garage on the corner of Hemisfair Blvd and E Cesar E Chavez Blvd and your first 30 minutes is free!
Once you park, exit the garage and walk towards the right of the tower, past the water fountains up some stairs/ramps to find these wings. If you want to get the tower in your shot you will have to kneel down.
Location: 3853 N St. Marys St.
Facts & Tips: I couldn’t believe this is in the middle of San Antonio! Absolutely add it to your list! First of all, it’s FREE. Second, pets are welcome and last but not least there’s a beautiful waterfall (it was closed due to a wedding), stone structures, koi ponds and well kept landscapes. If I lived in San Antonio I would be here all the time! We did go early around 9am to avoid the extreme heat and crowds. To our surprise there weren’t a lot of people and the gardens are big enough to social distance. Click here for the address to the parking lot or follow the signs.
Mission San Jose
Location: 299 Woodhull Dr.
Facts & Tips: There are 5 missions in San Antonio and you can either drive or use the Missions hike and bike trail to get to the missions. We ended up driving and only visiting one 1 out of 5 missions due to lack of time, otherwise, we would have definitely visited more. Also, they are pet friendly!
FYI, Even though Google maps said it opened at 9 we showed up shortly before 10 and it was closed! I am assuming that due to Covid hours have changed. Luckily a ranger pulled up around 10 and opened it up so we were the second ones in. As we were leaving there were more people arriving, so go early to avoid crowds and the heat! They do have their own parking lot.

Confluence Park
Location: 310 W. Mitchell
Facts & Tips: The pictures online looked absolutely beautiful but when we arrived we were sad to see that there was construction going on. So please beware if you do decide to go and plan to get creative with your angles. They do have a small parking lot available.
