Be someone's cure with @BeTheMatch #Sponsored I'v Be someone's cure with @BeTheMatch #Sponsored
I've always wanted to use my platform for good so I have partnered with @BeTheMatch to remind you that if you’re already registered as a bone marrow donor, when they find a match, please remember to say YES.
Over 70% of patients who need a transplant do not have a fully matched donor in their family, they depend on Be The Match. Because of the makeup of the registry, 53% of Asian patients, 71% of African American patients, 52% of Hispanic patients, and 40% of Native American patients won't find a match. We need more diverse donors to join the registry to increase the odds for those patients.

🥖MEXICO CITY INSPIRED PANADERIA IN SAN ANTONIO 🥖MEXICO CITY INSPIRED PANADERIA IN SAN ANTONIO
This is the one restaurant I visit EVERY single time I’m in town!! @LaPanaderia opened in 2014 & specializes in making handmade bread & pan dulce inspired by Mexico’s Golden Era, which also draws influence from French, Italian, & American breadmaking techniques. Which means yes, the bread is 🤤 & absolutely worth the drive!
🎥In the video:
-Tres Leches Croissant, Vanilla Concha (top was crunchy while the inside was flaky 🤤), Chocolate Croissant, Sugar Donut
-Bacon & Egg Torta on birote with a house salad (my favorite)
-French Toast on Cinnamon Raisins & Pecans roll
-El Buenos Dias
-Iced Lattes
🏆And if you don’t believe me when I say it’s worth the hype, it was named one of the 10 “best artisanal bakeries in North America” by USA Today’s 10 Best.

LAREDO ROUND UP I remember visiting Laredo when m LAREDO ROUND UP
I remember visiting Laredo when my family and I would drive to Mexico for our family trips. It had been years since I had visited and let me tell you, it has grown SO much. Some of my favorite things to do were strolling through downtown feeling like we went back in time, and the blend of Mexican and American cultures, from the amazing Mexican food to the Spanglish menus. Where to stay in Downtown San Antonio

San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter

San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter

Looking for somewhere to stay in downtown San Antonio? Check out the newly renovated San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. The hotel is located at the Shops at Rivercenter with a private Riverwalk entrance.

Above all, the hotel is located walking distance to many tourist attractions such as The Alamo, but also driving distance to several other tourist attractions. I absolutely enjoyed the convenience of being able to access the Parking Garage from the hotels lobby, it made it so much easier and faster to get out and explore.

In short, keep reading for more details on the location, rooms, amenities, and dining at San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter.

Thanks for hosting me San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter and as always all opinions are my own.

San Antonio Riverwalk Go Rio Cruise

Location

San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter is located in downtown San Antonio. The hotel has a private Riverwalk entrance and is located at the Shops at Rivercenter.

I was able to walk to several tourist attractions such as The Alamo, La Villita, Hemisfair Park, all within 5-10 minutes. Since you are right on the Riverwalk it was nice to take the scenic route and walk along the river. I absolutely love how walkable San Antonio is and it’s definitely up to you as how little or how much you want to walk.

Similarly, I also drove to other tourist attractions such as the Japanese Tea Garden, the Zoo, any of the 4 Missions, Hot Wells Ruins, The Pearl, San Fernando Cathedral, and Market Square all within a 15 minute drive.

In addition, I had a chance to do a 35 minute Narrated Riverwalk Cruise with Go Rio Cruises. The hotel has a private riverwalk entrance and it takes you directly to the ticketbooth for Go Rio Cruises. This was my first time on a Riverwalk cruise and I loved learning more about the History of San Antonio. Thanks to San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter for the tickets!

San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter Pool

Rooms/Amenities

I stayed at the Lifestyle Junior Suite which includes a king sized bed,  and a separate area with

  • a desk
  • a sofa
  • 2 TVs
  • walk in shower
  • two windows.
  • a bathroom with great lighting
Amenities:
  • Fitness Center
  • Indoor/Outdoor Pool
  • Onsite Garage Parking for a fee – (bottom floors of the hotel) It was so convenient to go in and out as needed and not have to wait for valet to get my car.
  • Wi-Fi, complimentary in the lobby & public areas, in room for a fee

Tributary San Antonio, Texas

Dining

For dining options, you don’t have to go far. There are two restaurants located in the lobby of the hotel. Tributary is open for brunch and lunch on the weekends and dinner daily. Cafe Bocadillo is open daily for breakfast and coffee, brews and light meals.

I stopped by Tributary for dinner, whose menu is filled with fresh ingredients from local farmers, handcrafted cocktails and craft beers.  The menu changes constantly due to seasonality of the produce and you can definitely tell the difference it makes in the food!

I tried some cocktails, the brisket nachos, which I can’t recommend enough, and the Gulf fish and chips. For dessert, I got the apple bread pudding and a brownie sundae. Every single item was cooked perfectly and tasted so fresh.

I’ve had some terrible experiences with restaurants on the Riverwalk but Tributary was absolutely amazing. From the food to the service, everything was exceptional.

In addition, I also stopped by Cafe Bocadillo, a casual hotel coffee house serving brews and light meals. I stopped by for breakfast, grabbed some coffee, as they brew Starbucks coffee, and a breakfast sandwich and brought it back to my room. Above all, I loved the convenience of being able to grab something fast and easy before heading out to explore. Thanks to San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter for letting me try both restaurants.

Overall

In conclusion, if you are looking for somewhere to stay in downtown San Antonio, check out San Antonio Marriott Rivercenter. It is the perfect location if you are wanting to walk or drive to several tourist attractions.

Overall, the convenience of the parking garage being onsite was absolutely amazing. From not having to walk my luggage several blocks, or having to find a parking lot, or waiting a while for valet to get my car, it was just so convenient.

In addition, I also really enjoyed the newly renovated modern look and being able to dine onsite as needed. Not to mention it was some of the best food I had my whole trip! I always have a great time in San Antonio and this was no exception!
